Village Zero’s mission is to regenerate the village, to make it the healthy heart of our community, where the local economy and community thrives while nurturing the natural environment.

We urgently need to find ways for humans and natural systems to coexist and co-evolve in harmony.

We will work to provide tangible solutions and understand that some changes won’t come easily to restore respect and balance to our relationship with nature.

We will take action as individuals that contribute to sustainable outcomes for the community and the planet. Initial actions will include to:

• generate, store and consume locally produced renewable energy
• reduce waste by reuse, repair, repurpose and recycling of materials
• increase and improve green space for people to gather and connect
• promote art and cultural activities
• acknowledge our distinct history.
